About our Church
Cheatham Hill Baptist Church is a God fearing, Bible believing Southern Baptist Church located in Marietta, Georgia. We rest our faith wholly on and in the Lord Jesus Christ for our individual salvation. We believe that the teachings of the Holy Bible and the Holy Bible in Holy writ is the inerrant, inspired Word of the Living God, both verbally and in every part. We have affiliated ourselves with one another as a body of immersed believers in the dedication and declaration of our convictions in order that we may carry out the Lord’s work decently and in order.
Meet Our Pastor
Steven McEntyre
Steven McEntyre was born April 5, 1969 right here in Marietta, Ga. He started dating his wife, Karri, also from Marietta, in October of 1995. They were married on July 20, 1996 during the summer Olympics here in Atlanta. They have 2 children, Whitney and Conner. Steven and his family currently reside in Waleska, Ga. Prior to the ministry, Steven was a Firefighter/ Paramedic with over 20 years of service in Cherokee County. When asked about his vision, Steven said, “I believe that worship and preaching should be uplifting & exciting! Jesus is alive and we should act like it”. Steven enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, baseball & Georgia Football!
